Delivery of the first batch of C2 Tactical Displays to Imbel

Between the 19th and 23rd of June, Ocellott’s Board of Directors received at the Santa Rita do Sapucaí/MG unit, the visit of representatives of the engineering team of the Military Material Industry – IMBEL/FMCE, Major Luiz Renault and Engineer Paola Delfino. The purpose of the visit was the delivery ceremony of the first batch of C2 Tactical Displays, PED (Strategic Defense Product) that will be used to equip the M109 A5b Howitzers, from the Genesis in Artillery program.

After great effort by the Oce Team, 38 units of the Command and Control Tactical Display for IMBEL were completed in record time and delivered before the estimated deadline, which from now on will be available for use by the Brazilian Army. It is a militarized computer/tablet that is capable of running programs that the armed forces and the army use, being essential in field missions.

This delivery concerns the first manufacturing shipment for the defense market produced 100% in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, after the change of plant that took place in March. Taking advantage of the occasion of the ceremony, Major Renault praised the partnership between Ocellott and IMBEL, and highlighted the importance of the collaboration between the two companies for the development and manufacture of products at the service of the defense of Brazil.

We greatly appreciate the trust and partnership placed by IMBEL in our work and we are proud to be a Strategic Defense Company, a provider of technologies for the Brazilian Army, offering efficient and agile development and manufacturing for the EB.
