On September 6th, Ocellott successfully completed the Aerospace Quality Management System recertification process for AS9100 Rev. D, with the inclusion of the Santa Rita do Sapucaí – MG unit.
Ocellott’s recertification demonstrates the stability and awareness of the company’s practices and its commitment to the safety, quality and timeliness of the products and services it delivers to the market.
AS9100 is a quality management system standard based on ISO 9001 with a focus on aerospace quality. Whether for distributors, maintenance organizations or manufacturers, AS9100 certification serves as the basis for the safety, reliability and regulatory compliance of their products.
For Ocellott, certification guides the search for continuous improvement, safe working and standardization, managing process risks and providing reliability and compliance for our products and services.
The process began in May with the formation of a team of internal auditors who reviewed all the processes. Weeks of work resulted in an even more robust and organized system, achieving the excellent result of recertification without any non-conformities. This maturity was noted by the auditors, who highlighted the criticality of the internal audits carried out and the responsibility of the actions taken.
The external audit took place between the 1st and 6th and assessed our processes within the context of the quality management system. This process led to the re-certification of the São José dos Campos unit and the certification of the Santa Rita do Sapucaí unit.
This goal was achieved due to the commitment and competence of the entire Ocellott team to the quality management system and their dedication to the processes.
