Ocellott participates in the Setembrino de Carvalho Mission 2023

Coordinating the fire support of the 5th Army Division with the aim of fulfilling its mission of deepening the combat and increasing the fire support provided by the Artillery Groups in External Defense military operations, the AD/5 carried out “Operation Marechal Setembrino de Carvalho” between September 18 and 22 at the Marechal Hermes Training Camp (Três Barras/SC), and Ocellott was one of the companies that supported the activities.
During the exercise, shooting activities were carried out with 4 vehicles, all equipped with equipment developed and manufactured by Ocellott: M109, M577 and two M113. Among the Ocellott products that equipped the vehicles were the Power Converters, Tactical Command and Control Computer, as well as the IMBEL CIM-2000, which Ocellott contributed to the development of the MRA and MRD modules. In addition to Ocellott and IMBEL, equipment from SAFRAN Defense was also used, all working in an integrated manner.
One activity that was very relevant during the demonstrations was the performance analysis between the A5+BR, a vehicle that was bought by the EB already modernized, and the vehicles equipped with products from Ocellott and other companies present, which showed excellent results in the comparison and proved the full national technical capacity to modernize the Brazilian Army’s armored fleet.
