On the 31st of July, Ocellott signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the company AHQ. The signing ceremony took place at FIESP in the city of Sao Paulo during the “Brazil-Saudi Arabia Investment Forum” event.
The ceremony counted with a number of prominent figures in the commercial sector, including Mr Abdulmalik Tariq Al Qahtani, the CEO of AHQ, and Mr Henrique Lemos, Ocellott’s CEO. The ceremony counted with further important political figures from both countries, including Brazil’s Vice President, Mr Geraldo Alckmin; Saudi Minister of Investment, Mr Khalid Al Falih as well as other Brazilian and Saudi authorities.
The agreement aims to explore the opportunity of creating a joint venture (JV) in Saudi Arabia, operating in the MENA region, Middle East and Africa. The partnership counted on the support and advisory of Sete Partners.
For Ocellott, signing a second MoU with a Saudi Arabian institution holds tremendous significance, paving the path for cutting-edge technological products’ development and manufacturing that will positively impact the aeronautical sector at a global scale.
Henrique Lemos, Ocellott’s CEO, expressed his enthusiasm for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030”, prioritizing investments in environmentally sustainable solutions, which perfectly aligns with Ocellott’s goal of enabling zero-carbon transportation.
